Yesterday they finished setting up my laptop. I spent all day in front of a PC- and had no desire to touch one when I arrived home. My epic blogging days are over. I am bringing a mouse to work so I can be a bit more efficient on the laptop- a hate alternative pointing devices.
Working at this office park is working in the lap of luxury. The building is actually owned by Halliburton. I feel somewhat conflicted.

Amen to the mouse with a laptop. I can't live without one and I've only had a laptop about 10 days.
As to the building owner, just use up all the soap in the men's room. That'll show 'em.
When my workplace gave me a laptop
back in March I suffered with the
trackpad until one day I got into
the hardware room and found a 3 foot
by 3 foot cardboard cube stuffed with
matching optical mice so I nabbed one.
The horrible thing is, I was starting
to get used to the trackpad. But I'm
at the point where I can't use a
computer without a scroll wheel now.

A scroll wheel should be required equipment. I can't function on an old school mouse.
BTW, my optical mouse won't work on the glass coffee table in our living room. I thought that was amusing.
