Little Hike
We interrupt our regularly schedule blogging to bring you coverage of a local hiking event. Lise talked me into this- it was only 11km. 11 km and how many meters vertically? We took an easy pace and finished in about 5 hours. There were two routes- one that had four "peaks" and one with seven. At the top of each we had our cards clipped. I am guessing over a thousand people participated, and a few dogs. I was amazed at all the little kids literally running circles around us. The weather was fine, but the cloud cover, temperature, and wind was quite variable. The ocean is off in the distance.
I am an American living in Norway, a dilettante road racer, a crazed bicycle commuter, a music producer on hiatus.
This blog started as a chronicle of my racing misadventures, my commuting foibles, my love of fixed gear. Then, one day, life just got in the way. Now I write about a little bit of everything.
