Movie Tickets

We stopped down in Sandnes to buy a pair of ticket for the Harry Potter movie coming out this weekend. They cost more than $15 each. Also, the tickets are not general admission, but rather for reserved individual seats. I find the entire concept to be rather foreign.

Lise has two job interviews scheduled for next week. When we arrived home, we found two letters from potential employers. She expected them to be rejection letters. Rather, they told her the time, date, and place that she needs to be for interviews. Again, I find it strange, considering it doesn't ask anything about her availability. One interview is just down the hill- a one minute walk from here.

The sun is shining today, but it is quite cold. Rumor has it that if the wind is out of the north, it is cold and clear. From the south it is rainy and warm. An odd thing is that the sun never gets very high during the day this time of year. At 1pm, there were very long shadows spilling across the street. The sun just sort of slowly emerges above the horizon in the east, stays the same low height as it slides around toward the west and sets. There is no such thing as high noon in November.
